Congratulations to Alan Rough MBE!

Alan Rough MBE and his family including his wife, Maggie Barry in a beautiful red felt Whiteley Congratulations to Alan Rough on his award of Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). Former footballer Alan was recognised in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Birthday Honours 2022 for his services to football and to charity. Now a presenter and pundit, Alan’s long goalkeeping career includes, amongst other achievements, holding the Partick Thistle appearance record, playing in two World Cups, and winning 53 caps for Scotland.

Anne, Princess Royal, presented Alan with his award at an Investiture at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in January 2023.

Here are Alan and his proud family after the ceremony. We are ‘honoured’ to say that Maggie, Alan’s wife, is wearing a stunning red hat and her daughter (left) a lovely navy headband, both from Ella Bulloch. Don't they all look wonderful?
